The week has been full of emotions. My head is spinning. Yesterday, I sat down and attempted to write coherently, but couldn’t. Here is what I came up with while running this morning:

*Everyone has been so supportive. Feeling loved is definitely the best thing in life.

*It was hard to write a resignation letter.

*I moved all the plants from my office to my apartment. I have so many…The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is now located in my living room.

*The art department has been my home and family for the last four years. I have learned so much and have met wonderful people. I am going to miss them all.

*It is inspiring to know I will be working for a foundation that really cares about the quality of life in New York.

*I am ready to practice the famous motto “less is more”. I will make less money, but I am excited to have more time to do the things I truly love to do. I am ready to have less and to give more!
