I am looking at my fall schedule and feel as if I am running a marathon that doesn’t have a finish line. Who signed me up for this? Well, I did. But I’m not a long distance runner! Running three miles every other day is plenty for me.
This morning, I went to my yoga class to attempt to focus on the here and now. We did our usual shoulderstand and that helped a lot. In shoulderstand, I always feel my body is in a complete balance – delicate and strong at the same time. It feels great!
The new Yoga Journal’s website has wonderful information. I really enjoy the poses section. You can even build your own sequence to practice at home. Jason Crandell’s article A Pose for Your Woes explains shoulderstand simply and well. Enjoy!
